Althea Non-Profit was founded with the goal of providing prostheses to those who cannot afford such care through promoting exercise, fitness, and wellness.

Levi Travis
Chief Executive Officer

Levi Travis is a Florida-born fitness enthusiast who wants to use his passion to help those in need of prosthetic limbs and organs. Levi learned about fitness and nutrition from a young age in order to lose over 70 pounds, and now wants to use his knowledge to educate others. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Biological Sciences in 2020. Levi’s hobbies and interests include weight-lifting, HITT, soccer, medicine, and education. 

Belén Wertheimer

  Chief Administrative Officer

Belén graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University in 2020 with a BS in Neuroscience & Behavior and a BS in Biological Sciences. She is committed to the administrative and marketing branches of Althea NPO. Belén has experience in mental health work and is passionate about medicine and promoting healthy living.

Pedro Almeida

Chief Operations Officer

Pedro is the Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder of Althea Non-Profit. For the past 3 years, he’s been growing his knowledge in the Fitness and Health industries, especially in Biomedical Engineering and Personal Fitness. As a senior Mechanical Engineering Student at Florida Atlantic University, he hopes to one day work in the field of prosthetic development and research, which inspired him to join Althea NPO. We hope you are as excited as he is to join this journey to bring prostheses to those who desperately need them but cannot afford them.
